Teen Therapy

Adolescence is a time of significant emotional, psychological, and social change. Teens today often navigate complex pressures related to school, friendships, family dynamics, identity development, and social expectations.

Therapy can provide teens with a space where they feel respected, supported, and able to talk openly about what they are experiencing without fear of judgment.

In my work with teens, I focus on creating a relationship where they feel safe enough to explore their thoughts and feelings honestly. Therapy may include conversation, reflection, and emotional exploration that helps them better understand their experiences and develop tools for navigating challenges.

Common areas we may explore include

Anxiety or emotional overwhelm

Self-esteem and identity development

Peer relationships or social stress

Family conflict

Navigating independence and life transitions

My goal is to help teens develop greater self-awareness, emotional understanding, and confidence in navigating the challenges that come with this stage of life.
