Teen Therapy

Many teens today are navigating anxiety, academic pressure, social stress, identity exploration, self-esteem struggles, and complicated relationships while trying to make sense of themselves and the world around them.

I provide support for teens who are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, disconnected from themselves, or struggling to manage the pressure and uncertainty that can come with this stage of life.

Many teens come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, disconnected from themselves, or unsure of how to navigate what they are feeling internally.

My approach with teens is warm, honest, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a space where teens feel emotionally safe, understood, and able to show up authentically without fear of criticism or shame.

Therapy can help teens build emotional awareness, healthier coping skills, stronger self-esteem, and more connected relationships. I also believe collaboration with families can be an important part of the process and work thoughtfully to support both the teen and the larger family system while protecting the teen’s trust and emotional safety in therapy.

I offer teen therapy in Beverly Grove and Santa Monica, Los Angeles, as well as virtual therapy throughout California.

Common areas we may explore include

Anxiety and overthinking

Self-esteem and identity development

Peer relationships or social stress

Family conflict

Navigating independence and life transitions
