About Me
My path toward becoming a therapist grew out of a deep curiosity about people, relationships, and emotional healing. Over time, I became increasingly aware of how anxiety, self-doubt, relational pain, and the pressure to hold everything together can shape the way we relate to ourselves and others. I also came to understand that healing often begins through greater self-awareness, compassion, and the experience of feeling genuinely seen and understood.
That understanding continues to shape the way I approach this work today.
It allows me to meet clients with both compassion and honesty, while helping them move toward greater self-understanding, self-trust, and deeper connection within themselves and their relationships.
Over the past 10 years, I have worked across a wide range of mental health settings, including substance use and mental health treatment, a psychiatric hospital, a nonprofit organization serving marginalized communities, and case management. Those experiences gave me the opportunity to sit alongside people from many different backgrounds, identities, and life experiences, each carrying their own unique story, pain, resilience, and way of surviving.
One of the most meaningful things these experiences taught me is that healing is deeply personal. I believe each person deserves to be met with curiosity, care, and an approach that feels individualized to who they are.
Over time, I realized that sitting with people in moments of pain, uncertainty, growth, and healing feels like one of the greatest honors. That realization ultimately led me to this work.
I strive to create a space where clients feel understood, supported, and able to show up authentically. I believe meaningful change happens not only through insight, but also through the experience of being seen, understood, and relating to ourselves differently.
I also believe therapists can only guide others as far as they have been willing to go themselves. Because of that, I approach this work with humility, curiosity, and deep respect for the courage it takes to explore your inner world and create change.
Outside of therapy, I love spending time with family and friends, being with my animals, practicing yoga, spending time outdoors, and continuing to learn and grow both personally and professionally.
My Approach to Therapy
Often, therapy creates the opportunity to notice the ways you may have learned to protect yourself, adapt, or survive, while also making space for parts of yourself that may have been pushed aside, unheard, or disconnected over time.
You Don’t Have to Do This Alone
Many people spend years trying to make sense of their struggles on their own. Therapy offers a space where your experiences can be explored with someone who is attentive, curious, and deeply committed to understanding you.
Within a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship, patterns that once felt confusing, overwhelming, or painful can begin to make more sense. Over time, therapy can help foster greater self-understanding, self-compassion, and more fulfilling ways of relating to yourself and others. I offer therapy for individuals, teens, and couples in Los Angeles and virtually across California.
